IMPORTANT VOTING NOTICE  for the Special Election for Pearl River County Tax Collector/Assessor  To Be Held on November 4, 2025.

WHO CAN VOTE: 

Only qualified voters who live in the Picayune 1 Southside or Picayune 2

voting precincts can vote in this Special Election.

WHO CANNOT VOTE:  Even if you live in Picayune 1 Southside or Picayune 2 voting precincts, you are NOT eligible to vote if you:

• Voted in the August 8, 2023 Democratic Primary Election anywhere in Pearl River County,

OR

• Voted in the August 29, 2023 Republican Primary Runoff Election in any Pearl River County voting precinct EXCEPT Picayune 1 Southside or Picayune 2.

Why these restrictions? 

These voting rules are based on a court decision from December 27,  2023, which was upheld by the Mississippi Supreme Court on June 26, 2025.
