Authorities have identified a suspect in connection with a homicide at a Picayune RV park on December 23, 2021.

Officers were sent to 41 Mississippi Pines Boulevard, Lot 115 in Sun Roamers RV Park in response to a report of a female being unresponsive, according to a departmental release. When they arrived, authorities found 23-year-old Anna Marie McNeese was not responsive and called for investigators. First responders arrived on the scene and confirmed she was dead. Further investigation found evidence to suggest McNeese death was a homicide and McNeese’s death was due to a gunshot wound to her head.

Investigators were able to develop a suspect that led to a murder warrant being issued for 30-year-old Paige Denise Allen of Chalmette, LA.

Picayune Police requested help from US Marshals after learning that Allen might’ve been near the Florida area. On Wednesday, US Marshals and Camden County deputies in Georgia were able to locate Allen and take her into custody.

She is currently being held at the Camden County Sheriff’s Department and will be returned to Picayune upon extradition.

On Dec. 23, McNeese’s body is currently at the Mississippi Crime Lab where an autopsy should reveal more details on how she died.
