Region 7-5A Baseball Team announced

Despite an abbreviated season due to COVID-19, the baseball coaches selected an All Region 7-5A team. Those players chosen from Picayune and Pearl River Central are:

Pearl River Central High School

1. Mason Treat SR, SS

2. Austin Diebold SR, P

3. Brock Craft JR, OF

4. Ethan Songy JR, 3B

Mason Treat (Pearl River Central High School) was the “2020 7-5A Player of the Year”

In 13 games, Treat was hitting .522 with 24 hits, had scored 24 runs, had 11 RBIs with 5 doubles and 1 home run. Treat stole 11 bases in 12 attempts.
