Picayune—Picayune scored on every possession in the first half and the Maroon Tide defense held Hancock to 55 yards total offense in the first half on its way to a 49-21 win.

Chris Davis (6) ran for 38 yards on his first run
Picayune’s scores were a 30 yard run by Niquis Ratcliff, a 39 yard pass from Brady Robertson to Darrell Smith, a 2 yard run by ‘Quick’ Chris Davis, a 4 yard run by Davis, a 17 yard touchdown pass from Colt Robertson to Darrell Smith, a Ratcliff 25 yard run, and Cam Quinn 15 yard run. Morgan “Bright Shoes” Craft was perfect on the point afters.

Picayune substituted freely from late in second quarter and cruised through a ‘hot clock’ second half.
Hancock scored on a 4 yard run by Dylan Moran, a 54 yard pass from Moran to Neil Acker, and interception return for touchdown.
Davis, seeing his first action in seven weeks, looked in old form running 11 times for 113 yards. Ratcliff had 104 yards on 7 carries. Brady Robertson completed 4 of 6 passes for 70 yards.
Picayune (8-2) will host Forest Hill in Round 1 of the Class 6A playoffs on Friday (Nov 10th).
