Picayune Police looking for man for Grand Larceny

The Picayune Police Department has an arrest warrant for a Picayune man for Grand Larceny surrounding his alleged theft of two motorcycles.
According to a press release from Picayune Police Department Chief Joe Quave, on September 17, 2022, officers responded to an address on Fifth Street in Picayune in reference to the theft of two Honda motorcycles. Officers canvassed the area and located numerous surveillance videos related to the theft.
Chief Quave stated that the Criminal Investigation Division began working the investigation and David Jackson, age 64, of 269 Pea Ridge Road, Picayune, was developed as a suspect. Picayune Police Detectives along with Deputies of the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at Jackson’s residence and recovered the two stolen motorcycles and additional evidence related to the investigation. The motorcycles were returned to the victim and an arrest warrant is active for Jackson for Grand Larceny according to Chief Quave.
