Pearl River men’s basketball hosting Elite, Back-To-School camps


POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Athletes from around the Pine Belt and South Mississippi will have the opportunity to learn from one of the top basketball programs in the country this summer.


The Pearl River men’s basketball program announced Tuesday it has created two new basketball camps. The PRCC staff, along with current and past players, will host a Back-To-School Camp on Saturday mornings and then an Elite Camp on Thursday evenings. The camps are open to boys and girls. Preventative measures will also be in place to fight against the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).


Anyone who registers before Aug. 8 will receive a free t-shirt.


BACK-TO-SCHOOL CAMP The Back-To-School Basketball Camp will be on Saturday mornings — Aug. 15, Aug. 22, Aug. 29 and Sept. 5. — from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

The camp is for athletes ages 7-12.

The cost is $75 for all four sessions.


ELITE CAMP The Elite Skills Basketball Camp will be on Thursday nights — Aug. 20, Aug. 27, Sept. 3 and Sept. 10 — from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

The Elite Camp is offered for athletes ages 13-17.

The cost is $75 for all four sessions.
