Pearl River County Utility Authority to offer on-line payments

In a special meeting of the Pearl River County Utility Authority, the board made the decision to keep all essential employees actively, but safely, doing their jobs during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Executive Director Cliff Diamond said that everyone is following the directives put in place by Governor Tate Reeves and minimizing all contact with the public.

The PRCUA offices are closed to walk-in customers, but Diamond said that people can set appointments to take care of critical business. New accounts can be set up by phone. A drop box located at the Authorities main office at 100 Street A, Suite F, Picayune, which is adjacent to Martin Luther King Boulevard, is available to drop off payments, but Diamond urges people to not place cash in the box.

The Utility Authority is actively working to set up credit card on-line payments. Diamond says this system should be up and running within two weeks on the utilities website at

prc-ua.net and customers should check the site for answers to frequently asked questions.
