Pearl River County accident results in two fatalities

RE: Double Fatal Crash, Pearl River County

On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 11 in Pearl River County.

A 2014 Honda Civic driven by 57-year-old Lisa Stockstill and passenger, 63-year-old Kevin Stockstill, both of Picayune, MS, traveled north on Highway 11 when it collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 30-year-old Maegen Ousley, and a 4-year-old passenger, both of Pearl River, LA, traveling south on Highway 11.

Maegen Ousley and the 4-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries.

Lisa Stockstill and her husband, Kevin, both received fatal injuries from the crash and were pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
