Municipal elections are today - June 8


Today, Tuesday, June 8, 2021, is the day municipal elections for the City of Picayune.


In the mayor’s race, Republican Jim Luke squares off against Democrat Laverne Guy.


In Ward 2, Democrat Terrilyn Griffith faces off against incumbent Independent Lynn Bogan-Bumpers.


In Ward 3, Republican Jan Stevens is pitted against Democrat D. Fred Smith.


Polls are open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm.


Voting locations:

Precinct 1 is at the Fire Station #1 at 2233 Adcox Road

Precinct 2 is at the First United Methodist Church at 323 North Haugh Avenue

Precinct 3 is at the National Guard Armory at 1300 Highway 11 South

Precinct 4 is at South Side Elementary at 400 Beech Street

Precinct 5 is at Margaret Reed Crosby Memorial Library
