Krewe of Pearl rolls in Picayune on Saturday

The Krewe of the Pearl will roll its 2020 parade on Saturday, February 1, at 2:00 P.M. in downtown Picayune. The parade will begin on the 1400 block of Goodyear Boulevard, to the end, then turn right on Highway 11 South and right again on West Canal Street. It will then turn right on Kirkwood and end along the Crosby Commons area.

The parade will include floats, dance groups, and Picayune Memorial High School’s Maroon Tide Marching Band.

The krewe’s King and Queen for 2020 are Ray and Gina Rivero of Carriere.

The theme of this year’s parade is “A Night at the Rodeo.”

The Krewe’s throws will consist of chocolates, candy, beads and novelty items.
