Highland Parkway closed this week for paving work

A heavily used roadway will be closed this week due to construction.

The Mississippi Department of Transportation announced the closing while asking drivers to find an alternate route while crews perform paving work on Highland Parkway from U.S. Highway 11 to Highland Hospital Drive in Pearl River County.

The closure began Monday, September 28th and is scheduled to conclude at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd. MDOT reminds motorists to be on high alert for roadside workers.
