Dustin Gray and Erica Gray have been taken into custody in Colorado

Dustin Gray and Erica Gray have been taken into custody according to Picayune Assistant Police Chief Dustin Moeller. Moeller said the U.S. Marshal Service arrested Dustin and Erica Gray at 7:43 p.m. in Pueblo County, Colorado, on an outstanding warrant from the Picayune Police Department for possession of a stolen firearm.

The Grays were not charged in Willie Jones’ disappearance, but they are of interest to the department in that case.

Early Wednesday evening, Moeller told WRJW News that the Gray couple will be transported back to Mississippi, but did not want to release any information on when and how that would happen.

Moeller said he is thankful for the arrests of the Grays and is glad to be able to start the questioning process. Moeller stated that he hopes that process will allow them to begin putting the events of the disappearance of Willie Q Jones together and be able to determine what happen to Jones.

Jones has been missing since July 6 when he was last seen in Picayune.
