City of Picayune's Fire Department leadership team officially introduced at council meeting

At Tuesday’s Picayune City Council meeting, newly appointed Fire Chief Pat Weaver was officially introduce along with his leadership team.

Weaver, who became a firefighter after working in the oil and gas industry across the globe, succeeds Keith Brown who recently retired from the Picayune Fire Department.

Ronnie Reynolds, who has been with the department since June, 1993. will serve as Deputy Chief after most recently serving as Battallion Chief.

Ottis Mitchell will become the Battallion Chief. Mitchell has been with the Picayune Fire Department for over 20 years.

Josh Abercrombie is the new Fire Marshall and has been with the department since 2004.

Anthony Lossett has been with the department since 1999 and will serve as Training Officer.
