Bay St Louis man fatally injured in crash on Hwy 603

On Saturday, February 3, 2024, at approximately 6 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 603 in Hancock County involving a pedestrian.

A 2018 Honda Civic driven by 22-year-old Hailie Caster of Picayune, MS, was traveling south on Highway 603 when the vehicle collided with 31-year-old Michael Lewis Roberts, of Bay St Louis, MS who was crossing Highway 603 at Kiln Delisle Road.

Michael Lewis received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
