Suspects still at large in home invasion case

The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office is still seeking the identity and whereabouts of two suspects who invaded a home just after midnight on October 30, 2019.

As of late Thursday afternoon (Oct 31), Chief Investigator Marc Ogden of the PRCSO said the suspects were still at large and the investigation was ongoing.

Ogden said the suspects entered a home on Wayne Pardue Road, just north of Poplarville, through the back door of the residence. Ogden said one of the suspects was confronted by the homeowner and after a brief struggle with one of the suspects, both suspects fled the scene in a early 90s model red or maroon Chevrolet truck. There were no weapons involved in the incident according to Ogden.

The homeowner told PRCSO Invesitgators that the suspects, wearing masks at the time, appeared to be white males between 5’8 to 5’10 in height.
