Man turns himself in on warrant for arrest

Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison stated in a press release that Investigators with the PRCSO executed a search warrant at #100 Jackson Street, Carriere, MS. During the execution of the search warrant, Investigators discovered a distribution amount of marijuana, digital scales, plastic bags, and U.S. currency.

Sheriff Allison said that Matthew J. Palmisano was determined to be the owner of the narcotics and he was not present at the residence at the time of the search warrant. Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Palmisano for the charge of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.

On October 15, Palmisano traveled to the Pearl River County Jail and turned himself in according to Sheriff Allison.
