Suspect taken into custody

Pearl River County Sheriff Allison announced on Friday that Alfred Dwayne Clark, age 46, of 62 Hickory Lane, Carriere, MS, had been taken into custody and was booked for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute.

On June 27, 2019, Pearl River County Sheriff Investigators along with the Narcotic Division executed a search warrant at his residence, but Clark was not present. Three suspects, Casey Clark, Lannie Miller, and John St. Amand were arrested during the search of the residence. The Sheriff's Department issued a warrant for Clark's arrest after he was not at the residence.

Sheriff Allison stated that he wanted to thank the Picayune Police Department for their assistance in the investigation locating Clark and for taking Clark into custody.
