Blue Devils beat North Pike; Maroon Tide falls to West Jones

Austin Dean threw a complete game one hitter, struck out 5, and walked four batters in Pearl River Central’s 8-2 win over North Pike in Game 1 of their best of 3 series at Carriere.

For Dean, it was his 21st win for PRC during his career and puts in second all time behind Dylan Spiers (25 wins).

Caiden Shoemake drove in two runs with a single to left in the bottom of the first inning.

Mason Treat drove in two runs in the fifth with a single and Hayden Dunhurst added two doubles, both off the wall, for PRC.
