Picayune to face Stone in Round 2 of baseball playoffs

The Picayune Maroon Tide under Head Coach Cody Stogner have a 15-9 record and had a bye in round one of the Class 5A playoffs as region champs. 

Picayune will play Stone in round 2 of Class 5A baseball playoffs.   

Kyler Lauga leads the Maroon Tide with .377 batting avg with 26 hits and 23 runs scored. Chad "The Cobra" is hitting .352 with 18 RBIs and 2 HR. 

 Chad Dudenhefer has 13 RBIs.  Jakail Myers has 2 HR and 12 RBIs.

 

Logan Ledet is 5-2 with 1.82 ERA.  Luke Smith is 4-2 with 1.97 ERA.  Trey Wells is 3-1 with 3.84.

 

 

Schedule (weathering permitting) 

Thursday Game 1 at Picayune 7:00pm  WRJW 1320 AM and wrjwradio.com

Friday Game 2 at Stone 7:00pm

Saturday Game 3 (if necessary) at Picayune 7:00pm

Note If Game 1 rained out on Thursday, then everything gets pushed back one day to Sat, Sun, Mon.
