Local man arrested for numerous drug charges
Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison stated in a press release that on April 1, 2019, Investigators with Pearl County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division made contact with Phillip Milner, age 35, of 19 Quick Road, Carriere, MS.
Milner was located at 616 F.Z. Goss Road, Picayune, MS and taken into custody for two outstanding warrants for traffic violations (No Driver’s License and No Insurance) according to Sheriff Allison.
Sheriff Allison stated that during a search of Milner’s person for officer safety and before Milner was placed in a unit to be transported, he was found to be in possession of a handgun in his waistband as a convicted felon. He was also found to be in possession of two or more precursor chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, a felony amount of crystal meth, and a misdemeanor amount of Xanax.
Milner was transported to the Pearl River County Jail where he was charged with Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors With Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine, and Possession of Xanax.
