Information for Saturday's City and County Wide Cleanup

Below is information provided earlier today from Christy Goss, Keep Picayune Beautiful Director, one of the coordinators for this effort.

The City and County Wide Cleanup day on Saturday begins with sign in

at 8:00 a.m. at Crosby Commons on Goodyear Boulevard in Picayune.

Limited Supplies of litter getters, gloves, garbage bags, and safety vests will be available. Volunteers are asked to return supplies to Crosby Commons between 11:30 a.m. -12:00 noon.

Lunch will be provided for volunteers after supplies & trash are turned in at the designated area.

Recommended Cleanup Sites are as follows:

Route Mockingbird--- HWY 43 North (McDonalds to Liberty Rd.)

Route Raven--- Ausborn Rd. to Fern St.

Route Hawk--- HWY 43 North (Claiborne Hill to Paul’s Pastry)

Route Falcon--- (HWY 11/Memorial grocery store parking lot to Tractor Supply)

Route Owl--- South Beech St. (Lee Tobacco to Williamburg Rd.)

Route Swan--- Blanks Ave

Route Eagle North--- (Claiborne Hill to Hideaway Lake)

Route Eagle Central--- (Memorial Blvd. to Claiborne Hill)

Route Eagle South---(Hwy 11/Memorial Blvd. to Friendship Park)

Route Pelican---Cooper Rd.

Frontage Rd (Walmart area)

East Canal St

Downtown Picayune Area

Boley Creek/Long Bridge/Beech St.

South Haugh St.
