Drugs, Money Located During Search of Slidell-area Apartment

Members of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force have arrested two individuals after a large amount of drugs and money were located at a Slidell-area apartment.

As part of an investigation that began with a citizen tip, task force members conducted a search warrant at an apartment on Brownswitch Road Thursday (Jan. 3) evening.

While searching the residence, detectives located and seized approximately seven and a half pounds of suspected marijuana, 597 grams of suspected THC wax, just over a half of a gram of suspected cocaine, five dosage units of suspected MDMA (Ecstasy), 45 dosage units of suspected LSD and 215 grams/units of suspected THC oil/vape canisters.

They also seized drug paraphernalia associated with the packaging and distribution of narcotics, two handguns and $62,287 cash, which is believed to be proceeds derived from drug offenses.

Alivia Marie Hallaran and Benjamin Hunter Clayton

The occupants of the apartment, Alivia Marie Hallaran, age 21, and Benjamin Hunter Clayton age 22, were each arrested on one count the following charges and were booked in to the St. Tammany Parish Jail:

Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule I (Marijuana) - Felony

Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (LSD) - Felony

Possession of Schedule I CDS (MDMA) - Felony

Possession of Schedule II CDS (Cocaine) - Felony

Transactions involving Proceeds from Drug Offenses - Felony

Illegal Carry of Weapons in the Presence of CDS - Felony

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor
