PRC's Hayden Dunhurst makes it official with Ole Miss

Carriere--It has been no secret that Pearl River Central's Hayden Dunhurst wanted to play his collegiate baseball the Ole Miss Rebels. Having verbally committed three years ago, Dunhurst made it official today signing his letter of intent at the PRC High School library surrounded by friends, teammates, school officials, and family.

Dunhurst, selected earlier this year to play in the prestigious Perfect Game All-American Classic, never wavered from his commitment to the Rebels. Dunhurst, 5-11, 205, considered one of the top players in Mississippi, is a left-handed hitter who can also play first base and outfield.

He is the son of Bob and Gwen Dunhurst of Carriere.
