Picayune routs Long Beach 57-7
Long Beach returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, but from that point on the Picayune Maroon Tide scored on every possession except one to rout the Bearcats 57-7 at Lee-Triplett Stadium in Picayune.
D'lijah Robinson raced 88 yards to put Long Beach (2-6.0-4) up 7-0 with 11:42 showing on the clock after Kai Vancourt’s extra point.

The Maroon Tide scored on its first five possessions and the defense added a safety to build a 36-7 lead.
Kade Turnage scored from 15 yards, Jortin Raine from 8 yards, Jakail Myers from 1 yard, Turnage from 7 yards, and Greg Swan from 6 yards. Issac Brice made 4 of 5 extra points.
In the second half, Picayune fumbled the ball on its first possession, but after that the Maroon Tide scored on the next three possessions on an 8 yard run by Turnage, Jairice Travis from 4 yards, and Issac Hickman from 2 yards out. Brice was 3 for 3 on his point after kicks.

Picayune amassed 523 yards rushing with Raine leading the Maroon Tide with 21 rushes for 254 yards. Turnage had 99 yards on 9 carries.
Picayune (6-2, 4-0) will travel to take on Hattiesburg (8-0, 4-0) on Friday.
