Crossroads Treatment Center suit against Pearl River County dismissed without prejudice
During yesterday’s meeting of the Pearl River County of Supervisors, Board President Sandy Kane Smith released a copy of an Agreed Order of Dismissal Without Prejudice on the suit that had been brought by Crossroads Treatment Center of Southern Mississippi against Pearl River County in regards to Crossroads' attempt to open a methadone based treatment center in Pearl River County just outside the city limits of Picayune just off I-59 Exit 6.
The document reads:
THIS CAUSE came before the Court on the ore tenus motion of Plaintiff Crossroads Treatment Center of Southern Mississippi, P.C. and Defendant Pearl River County, Mississippi, for dismissal of Plaintiff’s claims without prejudice to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(2). The Court, having considered the motions and being advised that the parties are in agreement, finds that the motion is well-taken and should be granted.
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Plaintiff’s claims are hereby dismissed without prejudice, and this civil action shall be and hereby is dismissed, with each party to bear is own costs, expenses, and legal fees.
