Picayune Police seeking public help in identifying man killed by train early Sunday

The Picayune Police Department is currently seeking the public’s help in identifying the victim of a tragedy that occurred in the City of Picayune in the early morning hours of August 5. The victim did not have any identification on his person. He is described as a slim white male approximately 5-7 - 5-9 in height, 130-150 pounds with brown hair about two inches or so long , with a brown scruffy beard.

The victim also had a unique tattoo on his chest and stomach that we had a local sketch artist render for viewing purposes. If anyone recognizes this tattoo or maybe the description of the victim.

Please contact Investigations Commander Captain Lane Pittman at 601-798-7411 ext. “0” or Pearl River County Coroner Derek Turnage at 601-749-7700.
