Local woman killed in accident on Ceasar Road

Pearl River County Coroner Derek Turnage confirmed the death of a local woman in a two car accident on Ceasar Road that occurred Wednesday afternoon.

Turnage told WRJW News that 57 year old Terrie Jean Couch died as a result of blunt force trauma due to a motor vehicle accident that involved her vehicle in what appears to have been a head on collision with another vehicle. Turnage said the accident occurred at 817 Ceasar Road.

Turnage did not have a report on the condition of the occupants of the other vehicle, but WDAM TV in Hattiesburg reported that a 19 year old and a minor were seriously injured and transported to Forrest General Hospital.
