Blue Devils even series with 6-4 win in Game 2
Carriere -- After giving up a six run inning and losing on Thursday night at West Jones, the Pearl River Central Blue Devils turned the tables and had their own six run inning and held on to beat the Mustangs 6-4 in Game 2 to even the series at one game each.
In the six-run fourth, Zach Roussell (single), Robert Shoemake (double), Austen Izzio (single), and Hayden Dunhurst (double) all had RBIs for PRC.
Austin Dean held West Jones to just four hits and a pair runs before giving way to Blake Craft in the seventh. The Mustangs mustered two runs before Craft got the last out on a strikeout.
Game 3 will be at West Jones on Saturday (tonight) at 7:00pm. WRJW 1320 AM coverage (radio, wrjwradio.com, and WRJW app) begins at 6:45pm.
