Man who robbed Walmart in Waveland and Picayune being sought by law enforcement
The man who robbed two south Mississippi Walmart stores is being sought by law enforcement authorities.
Picayune Police were dispatched to Walmart in Picayune on Wednesday, May 2nd at approximately 3:56pm in reference to a robbery. Picayune Police Department Assistant Chief Jeremy Magri said that when the officers arrived at the store, they spoke with the Loss Prevention personnel who stated that a black male entered the store and approached the money center and gave two cashiers a note demanding money. It was reported that the suspect told them if they cooperated, no one would get hurt.
The suspect was wearing a red long sleeve shirt, faded blue jeans, a black dew rag, sf and a gray backpack. The two cashiers gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money that he placed in the backpack.
The suspect fled outside the store and got into a white 2010 Dodge Avenger with Louisiana license plate 632 BCS that had a driver waiting inside and they fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Investigators arrived on the scene and processed the crime scene. It was determined through further investigation that the suspect was identified as Terry Madison III, age 22, of 2808 Clara Street, New Orleans, LA. Magri said that Madison Terry III was entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and is now wanted nationwide for robbery and active warrants from the Picayune Police Department. Terry has also been identified as the same suspect, that earlier in the day, entered the Waveland Walmart and shoplifted a white backpack before heading to the Wood Forest Bank located in Walmart, and robbing it.
