Maroon Tide Archery places six archers on the 2018 AIMS All State Archery Team

The Picayune Maroon Tide Archery Team recently had six archers selected to the 2018 Archery In Mississippi Schools (AIMS) All State Archery Team.
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is the driving force behind AIMS. The program, which began in 2005 with 10 schools, is now over 500 schools and in over 50 counties with more than 80,000 students participating each year.
Those selected from Picayune were: William Smith, Jonathan Gallo, Madyson Canulette, Jordan Barrack, Helena Hebert, and Madisen Milliet were selected based on their outstanding performances at the South State and State Archery Championships.

On Saturday, April 21 they traveled to Copiah-Lincoln Community College to participate in the 2nd Annual AIMS All Star Shootout. Each archer represented Picayune very well by posting the following scores:
Jonathan Gallo – 286
Madisen Milliet – 284
Madyson Canulette – 276
Helena Hebert – 276
Jordan Barrack – 275
William Smith was unable to attend due to participating in the First Robotics Championship in Houston TX.
Separately, two of these archers were also selected by the Clarion Ledger as part of their All State Archery Team. Jonathon Gallo was selected to the first team and William Smith was selected to the second team.
