Pearl River Central advances with a sweep of Forest Hill

Pearl River Central swept Forest Hill with 18-0 and 22-0 wins in Round 1 of the South State Class 5A playofs.

Blake Craft was the winning pitcher in Game 1 and Mason Treat got the win in Game 2. Both games were called after two and a half innings.

The Blue Devils (20-6) play at West Harrison in Round 2 with Game 1 on Friday, April 27th and Game 2 scheduled in Carriere on Saturday, April 28th. Game 3, if necessary, would be at West Harrison on Monday, April 30th.
