Blue Devils beat North Pike; Maroon Tide loses to H'burg

The Blue Devils pushed across four runs in the bottom of the first and added a run in the fifth to beat North Pike 5-1 and clinch the second seed in the upcoming playoffs. Austin Dean went the distance striking out six, allowing just two hits, and two walks. Austen Izzio had two hits for Pearl River Central (16-4, 6-2).

Tyler Penton had a triple, a single, and an RBI for Picayune (8-11, 0-8). Shaun Anderson drove in a run with a single and Dylan Ramsay doubled to drive in two runs.

Picayune will host Pearl River Central on Tuesday 7:00pm
