North Pike (7-5, 2-2) got their two runs in the bottom of the third on back to back RBI singles from Parker Phillips and Kole Alford after a two out walk.
PRC (11-1 , 2-1) added two runs in the fourth, one in the fifth, and two more in the top of the seventh. Schlottman’s infield single pushed across the runs in the fourth after the short stop threw the ball away after Schlottman was passed the bag at first. Schlottman drove in the run in the fifth with a two out single on a 1-2 count. The runs in the seventh came courtesy of a single by Josh Kennedy.
Schlottman and Roussell each had 3 hits.
The two teams meet on Friday in Carriere with the varsity game slated for 7:00pm.
Hayden Dunhurst singles to left in the fifth inning.
