PRC boys wrap up top seed in region tournament

Carriere--The Pearl River Central Blue Devils boys blasted North Pike on Friday 65-39 to claim the top seed for next week's region tournament in Hattiesburg. The win pushes their record to 18-6 and 4-2 in region.

A.J. Banks had A.J. Banks had 21 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Jason Long added 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Willie Reese added 15 points. PRC will play North Pike on Tuesday at 5:30pm.

Brooklyn Howe scores two of her 12 points against North Pike

Pearl River Central’s girls were beaten 34-32 by North Pike. Brooklyn Howe led PRC with 12 points and 6 rebounds. PRC's girls will play Hattiesburg on Tuesday at 7:00pm.
