Local man dies in single car accident

A single car accident on Liberty Road claimed the life of a Picayune man according to Pearl River County Coroner Derek Turnage.

Turnage stated that 32 year old Nicholas Seuzeneau, 19 Big Springs, Picayune, MS, was driving on Liberty Road on Friday night around 8:00pm when he lost control of his vehicle to the right side of the road, overcorrected, and then exited the road on the left side and struck a tree at a high rate of speed at 188 Liberty Road.

Turnage said the cause of death was blunt force trauma. Seuzeneau was not wearing a seatbelt according to Turnage.

Toxicology is pending to determine if Seuzeneau was under the influence of anything.
