Poplarville stings St. Stanislaus 42-31

Bay St Louis--The Poplarville Hornets (12-0) went on a business trip to Bay St.Louis and beat St. Stanislaus 42-31 Friday night and will advance to the third round of the Class 4A State playoffs. The Hornets were led by sophomore Corey Knight with 21 carries for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Poplarville defense scored a touchdown to help the cause for the second week in a row with a 46 yard scoop and score by Peytan Graham. Austin Bolton added 101 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Poplarville will play Purvis in the third round of the 4A playoffs next Friday night.
