Two arrested by Picayune Police in separate incidents

Chris Joseph Gisclair

Picayune Police recently made two narcotic related arrests in two separate cases according to Assistant Police Chief Jeremy Magri.

On October 30th, Picayune Police received a call from a local motel about a suspicious man who was sitting in a car in the parking lot of the motel. When officers arrived, they observed a 2003 Volvo S60 parked in front of the motel office and made contact with the driver, identified as Chris Joseph Gisclair, age 49, of 5112 Mt. Rushmore Road, Marrero, LA.

Officers spoke with Gisclair and asked him to exit the vehicle and performed a safety pat-down on Gisclair. Magri said the officers located a plastic baggie containing a crystal like substance believed to be Crystal Methamphetamine in the watch pocket of his blue jean pants. They also recovered a hypodermic needle commonly used to inject narcotics in his right main pants’ pocket.

Gisclair was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possesion of Paraphernalia, transported to the Criminal Justice Center, booked on the said charges, and incarcerated, Magri stated.
