PRCC removes interim tag; names Ted Egger new head football coach
Ted Egger was relieved and elated on Wednesday when an announcement was made during an exclusive WRJW Facebook live press conference. You can view the announcement on our WRJW Facebook page. After the announcement, WRJW conducted interviews with Dr. Adam Breerwood, Athletic Director Jeff Long, and Head Coach Ted Egger.
Pearl River Community College President Dr. Adam Breerwood revealed that Egger will be named head coach of the Pearl River Community College football team, eliminating the interim tag, pending board approval on November 14th
In making the announcement, PRCC President Dr. Adam Breerwood stated,
“We’ve stressed to all of our coaches to build champions on and off the field. I saw early in the year, even though we struggled a bit, that we had potentially the right guy for the job, and I don’t know that we expected that at the beginning of the year.”
PRCC Athletic Director Jeff Long echoed Breerwood’s comments.
“Coach Egger has really transformed our campus in a positive way. I think that’s the biggest takeaway from this, just the positivity that he and his staff have brought both to our football team and the campus at large.”
