Search warrant leads to multiple narcotics related arrests

Items found during the search warrant at 1243 North Beech Street
After receiving complaints from the community that suspects were selling illegal narcotics at a residence located at 1243 North Beech Street, the Picayune Police Narcotics Department and Picayune Police Patrol Department obtained and executed a search warrant on October 17th at 3:43pm at the residence according to Picayune Police Assistant Chief Jeremy Magri.
When Narcotic Detectives arrived and entered the residence, they observed six suspects in the master bedroom. The suspects were identified as:

Shannon Eric Mitchell, age 39, of 1800 Adcox Street, Picayune

Melissa Kay Bennett-Baker, age 47, of 57 Rouse Road, Picayune

Rebecca Jane Garretson, age 58, of 458 Ozona Road, Picayune

Lisa Marie Lowery, age 34, of 165 Frierson Road, Picayune

Tony Curtis Herring, age 36, of 117 Marylyn Street, Picayune

Leonard Earl Martin, age 61, of 29 Oak Point Road, Picayune.
Detectives observed a loaded chrome and black 38 caliber hand gun, a set of brass knuckles, several clear bags containing a crystal substance believed to be Crystal Methamphetamine, several digital scales containing a crystal residue believed to be Crystal Methamphetamine, 1 box of sandwich bags, 1 canister containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, 1 clear bag of blue pills identified through poison control to be Clozapam, a Schedule IV narcotic, and several items of drug paraphernalia commonly used to inject, package, manufacture, and inhale illegal narcotics. Detectives also located medication identified to be Sudafed along with butane and Zippo lighter fluid which is commonly used to manufacture Crystal Methamphetamine.
Magri said that Lowery was placed under arrest for the Sale of Controlled Substance while in Possession of a Firearm, Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance while in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Precursor Chemicals, Possession of Weapon by Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance two counts (misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Mitchell, Baker, Garretson, Martin, and Herring were placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute While in Possession of a Firearm, Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance While in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Precursor Chemicals, Possession of Weapon by Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance two counts (misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia according to Magri..
All six suspects were transported to the Criminal Justice Center, booked, and incarcerated on the above mentioned charges.
