Picayune Police asking for help from citizens to deter car break-ins

In lieu of the recent rash of car break-ins in the city, Picayune Police Department Assistant Chief Jeremy Magri shared some precautions that citizens should take in regards to deterring criminals from attempting to enter a vehicle and remove valuables.

In summary, Magri stated that it is of the utmost importance to keep vehicle doors locked, keep valuables out of sight, park in well lighted areas, and notify the Police if you observe activities that look suspicious.
