Oxfords beats PRC 9-2 to even series

Pearl- The Oxford Chargers used two big innings to take Game 2 over the Pearl River Central Blue Devils 9-2 to force a third and deciding game at Trustmark Park in Pearl. The Blue Devils scored first when Tristian Schlottman reached on an infield and scored on an RBI single by Hayden Dunhurst. Oxford answered with a run in the second on an RBI single by pitcher Parker Stinnett. While Stinnett kept the Blue Devil bats quiet, the Chargers chased starter Hayden Lebeau four runs in the top of the fourth, two of the runs were unearned. Oxford added two runs in the fifth and sixth. Pearl River Central scored their only other run in the sixth when Schlottman singled and eventually scored on a passed ball. Game 3 is scheduled for tomorrow at 7:00pm, tune in at 6:45 for the pregame show.
