Picayune School District to provide meals for students

The Picayune School District has implemented a feeding program for its students while they are not in session due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The district will serve student “Grab and Go” meals at the following schools during the school closures:

• Roseland Park Elementary….use Gilcrease Avenue entrance

• Nicholson Elementary….use Highway 11 entrance

• Picayune Junior High….use Fifth Avenue entrance

• South Side Elementary….use Rosa Street entrance

Breakfast and lunch will served at the above mentioned sites Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Students will receive two bags at each site, one breakfast and one lunch. Students must be present to receive the meal. Meals cannot be consumed on site.
