It was a very good night for the City of Picayune and members of the council when it came to monies raised for the makeover of Friendship Park. The Save Our Park Committee presented the City with a check in the amount of $30,196.21 from the proceeds collected from the “Jail and Bail” fundraiser held earlier this summer.
