Pearl River County Sheriff's Office makes multiple arrests during drug roundup
On Tuesday, October 22, 2019 , Investigators with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department’s Narcotics Unit, along with members of the Patrol Division, began a roundup of individuals wanted in reference to drug related crimes in Pearl River County. The following individuals were either arrested or are currently wanted in reference to this operation:
Lawanda Michelle Graves – 46 Years, old, 2604 Nina Dr, Picayune, MS - four counts of sale of a controlled substance (various).
Donald Edward Burnett –66 years old, 77 Lawson Taylor Rd., Carriere, MS - two counts of Sale of a controlled substance (pharmaceuticals), and one count of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance
Jasmane Jermaine Jordan -31 years old, of 211 Cottonwood St., Picayune, MS – four counts of sale of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), two count of conspiracy to sell of a controlled substance. Jordan was also charged with possession of MDMA with intent to distribute and Possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute stemming from a search warrant conducted on his residence during his arrest.
Roger Dale Alsobrooks Jr. -40 years old, of 12604 Preacher Powell Rd, Carriere, MS. – one count of sale of a controlled substance. Alsobrooks was also on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Alsobrooks’ residence was searched, and methamphetamine was discovered. Alsobrooks was charged with One Count of Possession of Methamphetamine stemming from the search of his residence.
Heaven Moore Alsobrooks, -42 years old, of 137 Moody St., Picayune, MS – One Count possession of methamphetamine. This charged also stemmed from the MDOC Search at the residence of 12604 Preacher Powell Rd.
Wanted and still at large at press time:
Carl Lamont Jenkins –45 Years Old, address 1223 Kingsway Dr. Apt A-2, Picayune, MS.: Trafficking in a controlled substances (Cocaine), Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, five counts of Possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute (various), three counts of sale of a controlled substance (cocaine and pharmaceuticals), and one count of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance.

Cedrick Deshaun Tyner Sr. –39 years old, last known address 892 Herrin Dr. Picayune, MS.: One count of sale of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine).
Joshua Ramon Smith -35 years old, 1501 6th Ave. Apt M-2, Picayune, MS.: Two counts of sale of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), two counts of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance.
John L. Stockstill AKA "John Boy" –37 years old, 18027 Hwy 603, Kilns MS: One count sale of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), one count conspiracy to sell a controlled substance.
Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison stated the following about the operation:
“A lot of these cases came from community complaints where a citizen tells us, the Sheriff’s Department, that someone in their neighborhood or someone who lives in another neighborhood, is selling drugs in the citizen’s neighborhood. In a lot of cases, the information that citizens provide is what we use to start investigating and it sometimes leads to search warrants and eventually arrests. We want to thanks the citizens of our county for notifying us and putting their faith in us. We appreciate their part in helping us in working in to rid Pearl River County of drugs. Drugs are destroying our children.”
