Blue Devils notch 28-14 win over Long Beach

Carriere- Pearl River Central scored twice in the fourth quarter to beat Long Beach 28-14 and move its region record to 2-1 at Kenneth L. Hendrix Stadium in Carriere.

Detrich Spikes had 21 carries for 129 yards and 2 TDs and Ty Herring added 125 yards on 25 rushes. Cameron Brunson complete 4 of 6 passes for 86 yards including a 15 yard touchdown pass to Herring.

Brunson also ran for 10 yards on 4 carries. Kevin Wilcox had 3 rushes for 18 yards for the Blue Devils. Dalton Lee scored a touchdown on a 2 yard run.

Brunson had an interception to stop Long Beach’s last possession.

The Blue Devils (3-4, 2-1) host Hattiesburg on Friday.
