Pearl River volleyball falls to Coastal Alabama South

BAY MINNETTE, Ala.— Pearl River volleyball fell to Coastal Alabama South Tuesday night 3-1 (12-25, 25-20, 21-25, 17-25),

"I think we started slow," said PRCC head coach Haley Chatham.

"We felt that all night even though we were able to come back a little bit. I think that slow start just kind of lingered on.

The loss comes after the Wildcats (3-3) won two of their past three games this weekend at the Mississippi University for Women tournament.

The Wildcats swept MUW JV squad 3-0 and swept Judson College 3-0 as well while falling to Wallace State-Hanceville 3-0.

The Wildcats don't return to action in over a week until Sept. 12th when they hit the road to take on Lawson State at 3 pm and Martin Methodist JV squad. "We're a young team and us getting a little time off from a game is going to let us work on some things," Chatham said.
