PRCSO arrests local man during search warrant at his residence

Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison reported that the investigators with the Pearl River County Sheriff's Office (PRCSO) Narcotics Unit and deputies from the Patrol Division of the PRCSO, executed a search warrant on August 10, 2019 at 115 Antionette Drive, Picayune, MS.

During the execution of the search warrant, investigators located Damon Eugene Bailey, age 40, of the same address, and several other individuals inside the residence. Deputies and investigators recovered a distribution amount of heroin with a street value of approximately $4,000, packaged heroin, digital scales, paraphernalia commonly associated with distributing heroin, numerous pharmaceutical pills believed to be Xanax, and over $15,000 in U.S. currency was seized according to Sheriff Allison.

Bailey was arrested and transported to the Pearl River County jail in Millard where he was booked with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin) with Intent to Distribute and a misdemeanor Possession of Xanax. Bailey was also charged with a probation violation from the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Sheriff Allison also stated that two vehicles were seized from the residence, a 2007 Cadillac STS car and a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 truck. The other individuals at the residence were not charged because Bailey was the owner of the residence and indicated the narcotics found were his.
