PRC school district launches new bond website; receives update on Intru-Door safety systems
During Thursday’s meeting of the Pearl River County School District board of trustees, Financial Director T.J. Burleson unveiled a new website to allow the public access to the latest actions taken and associated costs to the districts bond construction and an update on the installation the Intru-Door safety systems.
The district garnered 62 percent of the vote on May 18, 2018, for a $18.5 million bond issuance for construction of classrooms on the Middle/High School Campus, additional classrooms on the Elementary Campus and renovations at both locations. Other needs addressed will be parking, drainage, and ADA (American Disabilities Act) improvements on both campuses.
