Arrests made during search at residence

A press release from Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison states that investigators with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department’s Narcotics Unit along with the Mississippi Department of Corrections went to 73 Cedar Hill Lane in Carriere, MS, on February 7, 2019, to look for Timothy Lester Kennedy, age 41, of the same address.

According to Sheriff Allison, Kennedy had an outstanding warrant through the Department of Corrections for failure to report.

Upon arrival, investigators made contact with Kennedy and took him into custody. Investigators also came in contact with Dabry Lauraine Watkins, age 46, of 46 Darby Lane, Carriere, MS. The Department of Corrections conducted an inspection of the residence and located methamphetamine, marijuana, digital scales, packaging material, and drug paraphernalia according to Sheriff Allison.

Both Kennedy and Watkins were arrested, transported to the Pearl River County Jail, and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute. Kennedy was also charged with his outstanding warrant through the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
