Keep Picayune Beautiful to Join National Nonprofit Keep America Beautiful’s Affiliate Network and St

Local Community Members Seek to Foster a Cleaner, Greener, More Beautiful City
Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s iconic community improvement nonprofit organization, welcomes City of Picayune to its expanding nationwide, community-based Network of Affiliates with the affiliation of Keep Picayune Beautiful, Keep America Beautiful President and CEO Helen Lowman announced today.
Sarah Kountouris, Executive Director of Keep Mississippi Beautiful is excited to welcome Keep Picayune Beautiful as their 45th Mississippi Affiliate. Keep Picayune Beautiful joins more than 600 Keep America Beautiful affiliates, including 27 state affiliates, and a number of international affiliates.
“As part of our Keep America Beautiful Network, Keep Picayune Beautiful will act as a catalyst for positive community change, with a goal of improving the quality of life for every resident of Picayune,” said Lowman.
“We know that Keep Picayune Beautiful will help transform your public spaces into beautiful places as an important representative of our national affiliate movement.”
Keep Picayune Beautiful will host a presentation on the program on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. in the City Council chambers located on the first floor of City Hall at 203 Goodyear Blvd.
